Allied Health

This course aims to provide students with the skills and Knowledge required to enter the Health industry. At the completion of this course students will receive the Certificate III in Allied Health Services. This is an entry level program into the many areas of health and the beginning of a career in health industry. 

Who should apply?

Students who are wanting to begin a career in Health.  The course involves an introduction to the terminology used in health, anatomy, and physiology and basic client care.  It includes workplace communications, relationships and confidentiality.  The course enables students to work alongside nurses, patients, ward assistants, administrators, and support staff within the Health industry.

Possible job outcomes

Certificate III in Allied Health Services provides students with knowledge and skills that will enhance their employment prospect in the health industry.  Could lead onto being a Nurse, Patient care assistant, Orderly, Theatre support, Ward assistant and many allied health roles such Physiotherapy, Speech therapy, Podiatrist, Doctor, Pharmacist with additional training.
